Privacy Policy

1. Legal framework
This policy is governed by Law no. 22/11 of 17 June on the Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Angola. The competent supervisory authority is the Agência de Protecção de Dados (APD).
2. What data we collect
The data controller is LIDE Angola. Contact enquiries collect name, email, organisation, telephone, subject and message. Membership requests collect name, email, company, headcount, annual revenue, sector, telephone, headquarters province or country, referral and message. Newsletter subscriptions collect email, language, and the date and version of consent. Job applications collect the details supplied by the candidate, and browsing generates technical server logs.
3. Purposes and retention
We use the data to answer enquiries, assess membership requests, manage applications and send the newsletter where consent has been given. Enquiries and membership requests are retained while being handled and for up to 24 months; subscriptions remain until cancelled; technical logs are retained for up to 30 days unless a legal or security need requires otherwise.
4. Sharing and hosting
Data may be shared with LIDE — Grupo de Líderes Empresariais where necessary to manage the international network and with hosting, database and security providers bound by confidentiality. These services may process data outside Angola subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data or use behavioural advertising.
5. Your rights
Under Law no. 22/11 you have rights of access, rectification, updating, objection and erasure, as well as the right to complain to the Agência de Protecção de Dados.
